The NANO HONE Diamon Resin Strop is an ultimate upgrade to your standard field strop. Since it is diamond resin mounted to a thin aluminum paddle, it is thin, light and more durable then the standard leather. The 50 micron side will hone the edge back 

to a nice toothy edge and the 3 micron will polish it up to a razor edge. The vegetable fiber resin is not only durable, but softer then typical resin in order to protect the fine apex while sharpening, and environmentally friendly. The strop can be used dry, with a few drops of water, or a very thin oil.

 

The best technique when using these stones is to apply pressure while pulling away from the edge, like a typical strop, as to not cut into the stone and damage the apex.
