The NANO HONE Super Bite ceramic stones are "True Splash and Go Whetstones", just splash some water on it and you are good to go. The forged, non-porous ceramic are a great balance of finishing and speed with a smooth feel and a tiny bit of bite for that great feedback.

 

These stones are micron accurate and consistent from start to finish so you know exactly what to expect for the life of the stone. Each stone is mounted to a color coded aluminum backing plate to reinforce the ceramic and act as a mounting plate. 

 

The 15 micron (~1000 grit) stone is the workhorse of stones. it will establish an edge on a knife that is a little dull while also leaving a fine enough edge for basic tasks.
